Edizioni | Salone del Mobile 2018

25 May 2018

For their first appearance in Milan Design Week, Edizioni presented CROMO – a collection dedicated to the shiny world of the chrome plating.

Edizoni’s stylistic commercial and productive vision comes from the synergy between Alberto Sala, Paolo Sala and Federico Ferrari, who have a long time connection of interest and passion for design, architecture and communication. Every design is characterised by geometric shapes and unusual combinations of materials and finishes such as Glavanic bath in brushed brass, the black stone and painted aluminium. This stylistic approach started last year, emptying the structures and removing any additional ornamental detailing.

The Edizioni exhibition featured an oversized special edition of the ED045 pendant light, the new ED047 Floor Lamp and a selection of designs in this unreleased finish.

ED045 & ED045X

Made with a brass structure and frosted light tubes, the ED045 pendant light was the main highlight of the exhibition with the oversized design as the star of the display. The structure is held together by a system of elastic wires, keeping the lighting tubes in position.

A natural evolution of the ED045 pendant light, converted into a floor lamp. The metal chrome structure is the same as the ED045 and kept together by a series of elastic wires with a stone base.

The ED032 wall mirror also made an appearance in an oversized design in a set of 9 mirror modules. The metal sliding structure allows endless possibilities in configuration by moving the components on the build-in rails.

The ED046 pendant light takes inspiration from the ED045 lighting series and relaying it in a circular form. The structure is also made of a chrome metal tube with a light bar crossing the diameter of the circular tube.

One of Edizoni’s bestsellers is the ED027 was unveiled in a new finish. The floor lamp made an appearance with a Carrara stone base and a chrome structure and lightshade.
